Iris Fletcher born and raised in New York City on September 23rd 1962 is a self-taught abstract artist. Iris moved to Wichita Kansas in 2010 with her husband.  Iris is the oldest of 4 siblings; creativity is a passion in her family circle.  Her niece at the young age of 8 has already won several class awards for her pieces, and her sister creates fine sculptures.  At the young age of 7 Iris had an extreme passion for the arts, colors, sketching and painting fascinated her.

 Iris graduated high school and went on to college at Interamerican University of Puerto Rico took Liberal arts courses  for a year, and moved back to New York City, where she enrolled in Borough of Manhattan Community College for other courses.
